Sylvox Extended Warranty

1. What is Covered

1.1 Mechanical and Electronic Failures:

  • Includes screen malfunction, circuit failure, abnormal sound, etc., caused by material defects, workmanship issues, normal wear and tear, extreme temperature changes (-22°F to 122°F / -30°C to 50°C), dust, humidity, salt spray corrosion.
  • Examples: Mainboard damage due to water penetration under IP55 waterproof rating, abnormal screen display caused by high temperature exposure.

1.2 Free Repair and Replacement

  • Free repair or replacement of faulty parts, including but not limited to display screens, power modules, speakers, connecting cables, etc., using original or equivalent performance parts.
  • If repair is not possible, a new/refurbished replacement product of the same model or functional equivalent will be provided (priority is given to ensuring consistent core parameters such as 4K resolution and brightness).

1.3 Service Fulfillment: 

  • If repair or replacement under (i) and (ii) are not possible or available, Sylvox will reimburse you with Sylvox store credit, a Sylvox gift card, or cash in the amount equal to Sylvox's current retail price for the Covered Product, or the amount paid for the Covered Product as shown on the original proof of purchase, whichever is greater.
  • In the event a reimbursement is made, the original Covered Product will become Sylvox’s property and your Plan will automatically terminate.
  • If Sylvox exchanges the Covered Product, the original product becomes Sylvox's property and the replacement product is your property with coverage effective for the remainder of the Plan Term.

2. What is Not Covered

  • Damage caused by human abuse, intentional damage, unauthorized modification (e.g., disassembling waterproof seals), or misuse.
  • Damage caused by natural disasters (e.g., floods, earthquakes), war, or third-party infringement.
  • Improper operation or use in unspecified environments.
  • Cosmetic wear (e.g., non-functional scratches, fading of the casing).
  • Consumable parts (batteries, remote controls) unless specified in “Coverage Scope”.
  • Accidental damage during transportation.
  • Damage caused by foreign objects or pests.
  • Products with altered or missing serial numbers or disabled safety features.
  • Unauthorized service or service outside the US unless approved by Sylvox.
  • Inherent manufacturer defects or manufacturer recalls.

3. Service Process

Reporting and Response

  • Online: Submit repair form via Sylvox website (requires product video and proof of purchase).

Response Time:

  • Problem confirmed within 1 business day.
  • Extended warranty eligibility confirmed within 3 business days.

Factory Repair:

  • For products requiring factory service, Sylvox provides prepaid labels (mainland US) and covers return shipping.

Credential Requirements:

  • Required: product problem video, purchase proof, extended warranty agreement number, serial number, and installation environment if requested.
  • Only official and authorized purchase channels are eligible.
  • Model and serial must match the warranty registration. Applications with altered or missing info will be denied.

4. Fees and Refunds

  • Price: Extended warranty costs 8.5% of product purchase price (2-year term).
  • Cancellation:  Full refund within 30 days if unused and unactivated. No refund if service has been used or activated.

5. Sylvox’s Cancellation Rights

Sylvox may cancel this Plan with notice if:

  • Payment is not received for renewal or installment.
  • Fraud or misrepresentation is discovered.
  • The product is used commercially against the Terms.
  • Service parts are unavailable (with 60-day notice; pro-rata refund provided).

6. Key Terms

  • If the same product fails 4 times for the same issue (after 3 repairs), Sylvox will replace it or refund the purchase price (excluding tax).
  • Replacement products inherit the remaining coverage period.

7. How to Purchase

  • With Order: Select "Yes-2 Year Extension" in the product pages and check out; electronic certificate delivered within 24 hours.
  • Separate Purchase: Available within 30 days of receipt; requires installation environment photos and proof of the product in good condition for approval.
